Hello to all OpenHealthHub users. Thanks for joining what is a rapidly growing and vibrant community about health IT generally, with perhaps (but not exclusively) a special interest in open source.
Over recent weeks the number of members has rapidly increased, resulting in a LOT of email notifications. I sincerely apologise if this has been hammering your inboxes with notifications.
I’ve now made some changes to the default settings on the site to try and reduce email frequency for you. It’s worth reassuring you that all the emails are just notifications about posts, and you can merrily delete them, because the conversation will still be there on openhealthhub.
In addition, you can personalise your notification settings on the www.openhealthhub.org site by clicking on your user avatar (top right of the page), selecting Preferences, and scrolling down to Email, where you can choose when you want to get notifications.
You can also opt-in or opt-out of notifications on a per-Category level (if there is just one category you have a particular interest in, for example), and you can opt-in or opt-out of Topics as well.
If anyone’s having difficulty changing the notification frequency, simply email me on marcusbaw@gmail.com and I’ll assist you.
Once again, thanks for becoming part of this community, which has already drawn together a great range of Health IT specialists, and in terms of great discussion and information sharing, is just getting going!
Marcus
