# Experiencing a timeout issue with GPConnect

Every time I try to access GPConnect, the first attempt results in a timeout. Subsequent attempts work successfully, but if I wait for a while and try again, it times out on the first attempt once more.

Do you have any suggestions on what might be causing this issue?

I've had this on IM1 a few times. It's like I'm calling a lambda function on AWS and the first call wakes it up (activates it).
