# EMIS + TPP and HL7 v2

I believe EMIS + TPP both accept HL7 v2 event messages?

I have implemented a HL7 v2 ADT feed to TPP in the past and I believe EMIS and maybe TPP, accept HL7 v2 ORU.
 
I know v2 is an old format but it's probably avoids a lot of onboarding overhead and a FHIR to v2 ORU is a relatively simple transform compared to FHIR to NHS England FHIR or IM1 structures. So to get SNOMED coded observations to EMIS/TPP this might be option.

So is it still possible still? 
How are the messages sent, is the transport via MESH.
