# Emergency/Ambulatory Care - NICE Guidelines or process flow documentation

I'm researching this for some work I'm starting. 

I've found datasets and handover documents (specs and examples) but I'm after descriptions of the process.  In particular what is the (clinical/organisational) process when a patient is NOT transferred to an ED department (a 'big picture' description would be useful)
I would expect its documented somewhere, maybe as a nice guideline (not found any yet).
