# Emergency/Ambulatory Care - NICE Guidelines or process flow documentation **Category:** [open forum](https://openhealthhub.org/c/open-forum/9) **Created:** 2020-02-01 07:04 UTC **Views:** 1105 **Replies:** 1 **URL:** https://openhealthhub.org/t/emergency-ambulatory-care-nice-guidelines-or-process-flow-documentation/2180 --- ## Post #1 by @mayfield.g.kev I'm researching this for some work I'm starting. I've found datasets and handover documents (specs and examples) but I'm after descriptions of the process. In particular what is the (clinical/organisational) process when a patient is NOT transferred to an ED department (a 'big picture' description would be useful) I would expect its documented somewhere, maybe as a nice guideline (not found any yet). --- ## Post #2 by @mayfield.g.kev Something along these lines but less tech focused [Integrated Care - Technical Standards](https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&source=web&rct=j&url=https://www.networks.nhs.uk/nhs-networks/integrated-urgent-care-delivery/documents/integrated-urgent-care-technical-and-interoperability-standards&ved=2ahUKEwjKmZyh4LTnAhUBlFwKHf64BAoQFjAAegQIBBAB&usg=AOvVaw0fvXuY7r8PdxgRr6r-H6zl&cshid=1580712727452) And with more diagrams [Integrated Care Service Specification](https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&source=web&rct=j&url=https://www.england.nhs.uk/wp-content/uploads/2014/06/Integrated-Urgent-Care-Service-Specification.pdf&ved=2ahUKEwjKmZyh4LTnAhUBlFwKHf64BAoQFjAHegQIChAB&usg=AOvVaw1RvJYkupf0Npe_E-VJngPV&cshid=1580712727452) --- **Canonical:** https://openhealthhub.org/t/emergency-ambulatory-care-nice-guidelines-or-process-flow-documentation/2180 **Original content:** https://openhealthhub.org/t/emergency-ambulatory-care-nice-guidelines-or-process-flow-documentation/2180
