This is the start of a series looking at handling documents (pdf, html and images) within a NHS hospital. It is based on 'paperless 2020' FHIR implementations in West Yorkshire, England and Lothian, Scotland.
If you are familiar with HL7v2, what we will build is a HL7 FHIR equivalent of MDM^T02

Later articles will discuss using this in-conjunction with eRS, NRLS and GP Connect - Send Document (a kettering XML replacement?).
